As I’m missing doing gigs at the moment, I decided to do a live video last night (7th May 2020), on my Facebook and Instagram page.
The livestream was to raise money for Children’s Heart Surgery Fund which is an amazing charity that support Leeds Congenital Heart Unit by providing funding and resources needed to care for patients and their families. As everyone will know, now is a tough time for everyone, especially charities like this as the normal planned fundraisers and activities are unable to take place.
In total, across my Facebook and Instagram live, we raised an amazing £225 for CHSF. Thank you so much to everyone who donated as it means so much and will make a difference! Also a massive thank you to anyone who watched the livestream at any point and enjoyed the music and left such lovely comments, I really appreciate the support.
I will be doing some more livestreams over the coming weeks and months. I will be doing a few themed live streams so if you have any theme suggestions definitely let me know!
Again, thank you so much to everyone who watched, shared, donated, and enjoyed the music.
In September 2019 I had the opportunity to perform at York Food and Drink Festival ‘Mind Fest’ for the second year in a row. I really enjoyed the evening and performing for such a good cause : York mind.
I performed mainly original songs, and a cover of ‘Don’t Let Go (Love)’, which was all received well. The video of my cover is uploaded to my Youtube Channel.
I hope to do many more gigs like this over the next year or so. Thanks to everyone who was there and supported me and the other artists playing, whilst also donating to a great cause and enjoying some lovely food :)).
I then performed a 25 minute set of all original songs. I did one song on guitar ‘Unfortunately Yours’ and the rest on piano. I really enjoyed performing a set of my own music and I really appreciate everyone who came to watch!
