Livestream – raising money for Children’s Heart Surgery Fund

As I’m missing doing gigs at the moment, I decided to do a live video last night (7th May 2020), on my Facebook and Instagram page.

The livestream was to raise money for Children’s Heart Surgery Fund which is an amazing charity that support Leeds Congenital Heart Unit  by providing funding and resources needed to care for patients and their families. As everyone will know, now is a tough time for everyone, especially charities like this as the normal planned fundraisers and activities are unable to take place.

In total, across my Facebook and Instagram live, we raised an amazing £225 for CHSF. Thank you so much to everyone who donated as it means so much and will make a difference! Also a massive thank you to anyone who watched the livestream at any point and enjoyed the music and left such lovely comments, I really appreciate the support.

I will be doing some more livestreams over the coming weeks and months. I will be doing a few themed live streams so if you have any theme suggestions definitely let me know!

Again, thank you so much to everyone who watched, shared, donated, and enjoyed the music.

The Facebook live is below, and here’s a link if you would like to donate to Children’s Heart Surgery Fund: DONATION LINK- CHSF JUST GIVING PAGE

York Food and Drink Festival 2019

In September 2019 I had the opportunity to perform at York Food and Drink Festival ‘Mind Fest’ for the second year in a row. I really enjoyed the evening and performing for such a good cause : York mind.

I performed mainly original songs, and a cover of ‘Don’t Let Go (Love)’, which was all received well. The video of my cover is uploaded to my Youtube Channel.

I hope to do many more gigs like this over the next year or so.  Thanks to everyone who was there and supported me and the other artists playing, whilst also donating to a great cause and enjoying some lovely food :)).

Fulford Arms gig – Wednesday 10th April

On Wednesday 10th April 2019  I played a gig at The Fulford Arms through college.

I performed a cover of Death By Love with my friends Taz and Charlie. The video of the performance is on my Youtube channel lilyhoneymusic.

I then performed a 25 minute set of all original songs. I did one song on guitar ‘Unfortunately Yours’ and the rest on piano. I really enjoyed performing a set of  my own music and I really appreciate everyone who came to watch!

York Food And Drink Festival 2018

Through college, I got the chance to sing at York Food And Drink Festival on Tuesday 25th September 2018. It was a brilliant evening and it was lovely to see all the different performances.

As well as doing a 30 minute solo set , I also performed a cover of ‘Dreams’ (Fleetwood Mac) with Luke Flear.

A few songs I coved:

  • Stay – Rihanna
  • Gemini Feed – Banks
  • Obsessions – Marina And The Diamonds
  • Summertime Sadness – Lana Del Rey

Thanks to everyone who came to support my set as well as the event as a whole.
